Meditation is a way of calming the mind and provides us with the opportunity to develop a positive approach to life. If we practice meditation we can learn to be happy and peaceful no matter what is going on around us. We can learn to let go of negative emotions, bad habits, overcome stress and anxiety. There is nothing more meaningful then this because it’s the way to fulfil our own and others deepest wish, simply to be happy.

In this course, students from the Teacher Training Programme and Foundation Programme will teach us how to meditate, the purpose of meditation and how to develop our own meditation practice. This will help us cope with and overcome the business and difficulties of daily life.

The classes are taught in clear, easy-to-understand English and are suitable for complete beginners as well as those looking to deepen and strengthen their meditation practice. Each class includes a talk and one to two guided meditations. Each class is self-contained so you can drop in whenever you can or attend the whole series for optimal benefit.
